A Big Tree
Today I ventured out to my girls place in PA. She's the one who beat cancer few years back and we explore. This is the furthest I've made it from my house in 37 days. I only had the energy to go see this big tree she went on and on about. 10/10 would visit this tree again. Thanks for looking. Also some baby birds.
sorry there's no boobs.

Are you sure they weren't some kind of tits? I'm glad to hear you're moving. Take the time you need though.

I'm not sure what kind of tree it is. I was discussing with the same friend the other day that I have never seen a real Palm tree. I've never been anywhere tropical. I've only been to Jacksonville, Florida and I don't think I saw any palm trees there.

It took every ounce of energy I had to get out there it was like an hour drive and then she and I spent maybe an hour together and an hour back and I've been asleep since then. I honestly just feel like I'm on a different planet. Everything feels surreal.

Re: A Big Tree
I know this may come as a surprise, but when I read about those cunts that cut down that tree it made me cry. What sucks is my favorite tree will be difficult to photograph now because I used to always photograph it from the passenger seat, when my man was driving. All of the shots I took were from the passenger seat.
He knew like eight different ways to get one place. I was with some referred to as passenger princess so I had to go to his parents for Mother's Day and I was irritated as fuck that it put me on a highway because he would have taken a lovely back road and I didn't know how to get there!

I mean it would be cool if you guys see some trees and just post them up here. It could be like satisfying a phallic desire that I know lies within all of you somewhere.

Re: A Big Tree
It doesn't really fit the mood of the thread but I have a tree in my back yard that over the course of the past 20 years has just begun to lean too much. It's at about a 50 degree angle and it is no tiny shrub. If it falls it will take out a corner of the neighbors house. Our yards back up to a field so we get the full brunt of the wind which is partly why it's grown so cock-eyed. I don't want to see that happen as in the spring and fall 60 MPH gusts are not uncommon.
I've already gotten a few estimates to have it removed. It should be gone in a week or two.

I absolutely think its appropriate that you post a picture of the tree that you have sentenced to death because its geometry doesn't fit your perception of what is acceptable to live. Let's see the dead tree leaning.CHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2026 12:28 pm It doesn't really fit the mood of the thread but I have a tree in my back yard that over the course of the past 20 years has just begun to lean too much. Oh, it could live there is no doubt about that. It's still a healthy tree.Animal wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2026 12:44 pmI absolutely think its appropriate that you post a picture of the tree that you have sentenced to death because its geometry doesn't fit your perception of what is acceptable to live. The location of our stretch of the subdivision basically puts our back yards up to an empty field. On windy days we get a wind tunnel effect that has already pushed over numerous trees. 10 years ago the tree wasn't that bad; maybe an 80 degree lean. Over the course of the years though as the tree has grown and captured more of those wind gusts the wind has pushed it enough to where it is noticeably angled (50-ish degrees)and looming over the corner of the neighbors house. If it weren't a threat to the neighbors house and further down the property I would leave it alone.
This is not it but it helps paint a picture. Think the same angle but much taller. I'd guess about 30 feet tall.

Re: A Big Tree
Whoa!! There's a whole subreddit called r/treelaw regarding stuff like that!
This is a big Beauty I take pictures of all the time. This is in the backyard, I own about 100 yards into the forest and then the rest of the forest is state forest. In the summer when the wind is blowing and you close your eyes it sounds like the ocean.
