Yeah, the first 3 (ending in 1999) were great. Dud city since. Hawkfan will be along shortly to educate your movie ass.

Yeah, it's cool to dismiss Tarantino. His work is so derivative.

Really?
Kill Bill was a dud? Inglourious Basterds was a dud? Django Unchained was a dud?

Do you have any idea what the fuck you're talking about?
Perhaps you should stick to watching Transformers movies. They're geared more toward your intellectual level.

It's amazing how political Hollywood can be but at the same time they completely embrace gratuitous violence and killing. It's easy money but will the Hollywood politicos ever get a backlash on it?

The Hateful Eight was a terrific movie but it could have been better without his signature of the gratuitous violence and usage of the N word. It wasn't needed to the story but he had to stuff it in there. I'm also not a Christoph Waltz fan and he's in most of his movies.

It currently has a 94% on Rottentomatoes... and on Monday night it got a 6-minute long standing ovation at the Cannes film festival.

Star Trek?

Tarantino is taking over from JJ Abrams and directing and producing the next Star Trek movie. Probably a dream job for him. Can't be any worse than the last 2 Abrams did. Might be an interesting take. Probably not.

I don't think anything is green lit yet but he says he has a screenplay written... And he wanted it to be R rated.

Yeah, kinda what I heard. Probably why he completed OP's movie first. Waiting for the go ahead.

We didn't see the same movie the last time.

And Sofia Boutella rocked as the new ally in Beyond. Would be nice if they could continue with her character, maybe to replace Chekov?

Apparently, it's going to be an entirely new set of characters. What's unknown is what Star Trek era it will be set in. (original Trek, Next Gen... etc.) Perhaps it will be set in an entirely new Star Trek era.
Rehashing the Kirk/Spock era would be a mistake seeing how the Chris Pine reboot films are still doing quite well.

I can almost see how Tarantino's Star Trek would probably turn out. Crew gets stranded in the Beta Quadrant. Passing alien ships beg Kirk to allow them to use the Enterprise for their Dead N*gger Storage Area. *eyeroll*

I'll be honest. Back in the old UJ days, I always considered you one of the brightest posters on the site. Funny, inquisitive, refreshing, etc. Now with this massively reduced site, you have become just another hack spewing contributing nothing. Dude, what the hell happened to you? Must have been a pretty bad life experience.
