Re: So, regarding the British monarchy and upper Nobles
i watched a documentary the other night where one of the old Monty Python cast members went to North Korea for a long tour (like a month or so). He had NK handlers that were with him 24/7 along with military guards, etc. It was very good to see inside the country and what its really like. Anyway, one of his handlers was a young woman who he became pretty good friends with considering how close they were for so long on this tour. At one point he was sitting with her in a nature setting at a waterfall and they were just chatting. He asked her what she thought about the "leadership" of her country. She was very defensive and said they were wonderful, blah blah blah. He said that in his culture it was normal to make fun of leadership or point out their flaws. She really started to get irritated at that and said that was fine for him and his culture, but they respect and love their leaders. He worked on her for a few minutes, but she was not budging an inch.

She'd have died in a labour camp along with her family if she'd said anything else.Flumper wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 5:25 pmi watched a documentary the other night where one of the old Monty Python cast members went to North Korea for a long tour (like a month or so). yeah, that became very obvious. Not only with her, but many other situations in the tour. He went to a class room (they teach english to the kids). He went around the room and asked what they wanted to do when they grow up. Most all of them said something patriotic with some praise for the leaders.AnalHamster wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 7:01 pmShe'd have died in a labour camp along with her family if she'd said anything else.Flumper wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 5:25 pmi watched a documentary the other night where one of the old Monty Python cast members went to North Korea for a long tour (like a month or so). He toured a checkpoint in the DMZ and interviewed a soldier. He said they won the war against the US(NK won). The british guy said, "well, in my country we are taught that no one won the war and it was just a cease fire". The korean guy said that was wrong and that NK won the war.

I'm joking about all this, of course. I could care less about the situation of heirs to the British throne any more than I care about what insects inhabit my garden. But I had a thought today. What if they did have a half chocolate baby and the new born you saw in the photo-op was a "substitute"? Or, notice it never moved an inch. Maybe it was a life looking doll- they did that in "American Sniper" and that doll kinda moved.
