Well hell. Great news. My cat showed up after 3 days. Not a scratch on him. Just very sick.
I was gonna say, it's spring time, male cats, even de-balled ones, sometimes just get a notion and go alley-catting. Wind up disappearing for a few days or even a week or two. Then they come up a little skinnier and with a few bruises or a torn ear. And looking for a warm lap to sleep on.
But be sure to take him to the vet for a good check-up if he really appears sick or at least not his usual self. Sadly, cats have a reputation for hiding in some lost cubbie hole when they're sick, sometimes it's almost too late by the time they slither back wanting your help.

Is your kittie or little yard-tiger doing OK?
If you can't be a good example, you can still serve as a horrible warning.

Nope. Gone 3 days. back 3 days. Got him to drink some water a couple of days ago. Has not touched any food the whole time. Probably 1/3 weight loss. And forget about any Vet advice. The only Vet in a 200 mile circle from me retired 2 years ago.

Thanks Mom
Guy tries to help you out and you give him a zinger.
Guess the cat isn't that important to you after all.
He just showed up 30 minutes ago with an appetite for the first time in a week. I don't need anybody's help on taking care of my pet. Thanks for your concern, now Fuck Off.
