Oh, yeah. First time in their 100 history, shut everything down for like 18 months and retooled. Smart move. Back in business and delicious.

Of course, Blue Bell is like a commercial operation near nation wide. I'm more impressed with local chains. "Amy's Ice Cream" in Austin started back in the early 80's. Homemade from scratch. Damn on a 100 degree day.

Peerless dairies in Calgary back in the 80's use to make an ice cream that was 26% butter fat. It was like eating silk.

I remember getting Tiger Stripe ice cream bars from the ice cream truck went I was a kid. Those things were fuckin' good!
