They (Forbes) put a valuation on it to say it's worth $900 million. There is not a sane business person anywhere in the world that would pay $900 million for a small cosmetics company. It has 7 full time employees, and 5 part time employees. I would venture a guess to say that Kris Jenner, and her PR team got to Forbes, and bullshitted them. Exactly like John Barron did when he called Forbes in the 80's.

I would say the actual company itself is only part of the value. The real value is in Kylie herself and her celebrity; her millions of twitter and instagram followers (and their millions in disposable income) that can be reached instantly with one button. Companies pay people like her hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to mention their product in a tweet or be photgraphed with it. The power of social marketing and having your (captive)target audience right at your fingertips is advertising heaven. There are no dollars wasted creating a general ad that half the people seeing or hearing wont care about. Its advertising efficiency at the highest level.
