Went to Longhorn Steakhouse (Dardens), in Waterford Lakes and got a "Flos Filet". 6oz/ $25 but worth every penny. Fucking thing literally melted in my mouth. Drooling just thinking about it. Best steak I've ever had.

Filet Mignon I got at the Top of the Triangle in Pittsburgh about 30 years ago, best steak I ever had.

Try it with some Worcestershire Sauce as well.
You're welcome.

Yep. Salt and pepper only.
Pinch of kosher salt and a pat of real goddam butter, no pepper. Steak so rare, it walks itself out of the kitchen.
I want the steak to go "mooo!" when I stick a fork into it.

Same here.
If I had a dollar for every time I've had to explain what "blue rare" is to a waiter/waitress ............

32 oz bone-in Cowboy ribeye for 2 from The Strip Club. They house age all their beef for 48 days. So tender, it would almost melt in your mouth. I didnt even feel bad about $50 for just the steak.
And, the best bourbon selection in the state IMHO.

Correctly prepared, medium-rare prime rib. A side of grated horseradish is always welcome, but not a necessity.

Not to take this thread on a tangent, but I need to chunk my current pit. POS cheap charbroil. Need some suggestions on a replacement. I rarely cook for more than a handful of people. I'm looking for a major slimmed down version of the actual huge pits with the side loading compartment for heat and smoke. Say under $300. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Every restaurant I've gone to I tell them "Wipe its nose, wipe its ass, cut off the bell and put it on the plate."
They tell me they can't do that.

Yeah, I get that a smaller version of the huge dudes will cost bucks. Frustrated with the current situation. Makes burgers, steaks, chicken awesome. But Man, I'm in dire need of smoking a Brisket for 20 hours. I can taste it.

Pick a Chicago steakhouse with dry-aged steaks. Hard to go wrong. Dallas too.
