Who would like to read

All the news from the peanut gallery and where all the nasty trash talk fails miserably.

Who would like to read

#1

Post by necronomous »

An original story about the Joker origins that I created and give me any feed back? I would prefer someone who is a fan of the joker rather than just anyone, because I really need it to be looked at from someone who is adamant about how they feel when it comes to the character. However, I really just need feedback and I will be glad to take it where I could get it.

Nope, don't care if you think its a waste of time, childish, stupid, immature, etc. but express whatever you'd like.

It would also help to get some of the people up here who like me the least, (which is probably most of you) as they would tend to be more honest.

If I can read it in 15-20 minutes than go ahead and send it. I am a DC guy plus I actually used to get paid to write. I will be honest and fair.

It's about 15 typed pages on word. About 4000 words maybe a little less. So I dont know how long it will take.

My knowledge of the Joker comes from watching many episodes of the 30 minute Batman show on TV years ago.

I'll give it a read. Also read DC and am a fan but not to the point I could discuss when the shape of his lapels changed or crap like that.

I will read it. I am an avid reader, and have published a book, that should count for something. I respect anyone who writes anything. I will give you honest feedback. I also beta read for two different book forums.

Send it to me man. I will be straight. I don’t fuck around when it comes to shit like this. Writing takes time and effort and should not be trifled with.

Yes, knock a man for writing a novel. The culture of envy strikes again. You couldn’t write a paragraph without copying someone else’s idea.

Boy you've become quite the butthurt cunt over the past couple years. It wasn't a knock....I knew he would understand the reference and maybe get a laugh. I don't think anyone at the old UJ did anything but give you props for writing that book.

Two people posted poor reviews for the book, and one of them called himself “no from uj” I apologize for being oversensitive. But what do you expect? People also went to other sites I frequent and told them I beat my wife, including an site where I post about writing.

On topic, I Beta-read about ten books a year in addition to my own writing. Just finished second book, and also reading for fun, about 20 a year.

Writing is the medium of the Gods, not TV, not movies, not the internet.

I am actually really interested in his story. I hope he gives me a shot. But writing is scary. You have to put yourself out there and there is nobody to blame. It isn’t like a ballgame where it is a team loss. If it is poorly written or received, then then it is all in the writer. Of course is judge and jury alone. But opinions help. Hopefully he let’s me read it.

Sorry for misunderstanding.

We can only have one reputedly famous author per forum.

I would definitely read the rest of that.

I like your Joker.
It's not forced humour or humour for the sake of humour. The humour is part of his narrative. It adds to what he's already saying.
I really like the first person as the second person spin. The way he talks about himself in the second person is well done.

You have me wondering who he has in the "fun room". Alfred?
