So let's say that we are going to make the ideal place to hang out. Lots of midway style games (skee ball, pinball, etc.), some foosball tables, air hockey, coin operated pool tables. A food court with lots of fast food. A bar for adults. And the centerpiece of the entire place is a skating rink with a live DJ.
And we call it......wait for it...........
The Cheap Skate.
Good idea or Nah.

As far as video games I don't know if people play that kind anymore. I know the roller rink I go to they got rid of theirs a long time ago because for about 10 years before that no one ever played them. I like shuffleboard, i think that's the name of it, you slide little puck like things on a hardwood surface that has sawdust or something on it. Skee ball, is that the one you roll the ball and it flies up and you get points? A while back on some show a guy had bought a Bozo the clown grand prize game, that's going way back. I think there are liability issues or something about alcohol and roller rinks, I know of a few times at private parties the people wanted to have alcohol but the owner of the rink wouldn't let them. One night they found a bottle of vodka in the bathroom and made an announcement that it's unsafe to drink and skate, I told the manager "heck when I didn't have to work here I'd drink a couple 40 ouncers drop a hit of acid, smoke a mess of dope, and do a few lines of cocaine and then come skating, and look at me, I'm the picture of good health" and then I started shaking uncontrollably. Kind of had to be there.
