What is the purpose of Government?

I submit that Government has 1 sole function and that 1 function may be broken down into 100's of sub sections, But the sole purpose of a Government is to protect its Citizens.

When I say Government, it is on all levels, Federal, sub section would be a military to protect from invasion. State, sub section, maintaining roads and thoroughfares, County, sub section, Voter Registration and Polling Locations, City, Town, Metro etc., SubSection, uniform housing opportunities.

In a sense I guess but a definition that broad is basically worthless. It's like the bible, you can take absolutely any position on anything and then relate it back to protecting citizens. Supporting trannies? You're protecting citizens. Banning trannies from restrooms despite zero evidence that's an actual problem? You're protecting non tranny citizens. Rounding up trannies into death camps? You're protecting broader society, which is protecting citizens. This is why a constitution has more than one sentence and cannot be summarised in one sentence. One sentence can never contain enough information to express the complexity of a constitution, which appears to be what you are attempting to do.

Everyone who ever proposes or opposes any government initiative or inaction ever on either side could claim to be protecting citizens. It's therefore a completely worthless definition. I can appreciate that in your limited capacity you gave this thread a lot of thought, but the basic idea is worth considerably less than the dump I just took, which was aromatic, hot and rather fluffy. Also a pleasing shade of brown. I have thus literally shit on your ideas. I hope this helps in the development of your philosophy.
