Good Lord, you can put a fork in Hollywood. It's dead. 50 year old fighter jock on active service? I guess they started hiring 15 yo's to do their screenwriting.

Well, at least then TC looked kinda 20ish. What next? "Ariel" from Little Mermaid from a White one with flaming red hair to a black one with dark hair? Yeah, right. HEY. JC, put a fork in these SJW'sFSchmertz wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 9:26 pmSo, just like the original?WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 8:45 pm Good Lord, you can put a fork in Hollywood. Just stating facts as their movie bombs pile up until someone high up gets the message as their bonuses start getting slashed.Nero wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 9:44 pmLook everyone, it's "pretend to be outraged by everything" guy?WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 8:45 pm Good Lord, you can put a fork in Hollywood. Do you really think that this will bomb? Seriously? This is a sequel to a classic, not a reboot of a burned-out franchise. BTW doesn't look like Hollywood is hurting by banking on a movie franchise.WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 9:50 pmJust stating facts as their movie bombs pile up until someone high up gets the message as their bonuses start getting slashed.Nero wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 9:44 pmLook, everyone, it's "pretend to be outraged by everything" guy?WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 8:45 pm Good Lord, you can put a fork in Hollywood. How far down do you have to go before you get to a non-franchise, sequel, or reboot?

I have no idea if it will flourish or bomb. And I don't care. I haven't sat in a movie theater in 20 years. It's been that long since I've seen anything interesting enough for me to spend my $ or time there.Nero wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 9:59 pmDo you really think that this will bomb? Seriously? Cruise plays an instructor at the Top Gun school. Just like 52 year old Tom Skerritt did in the first film.WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 8:45 pm Good Lord, you can put a fork in Hollywood. You said it would bomb. Plus, you must care since you put enough thought into this thought.
If you have seen anything worth going into a movie theater in twenty years you really should not be using Tango and Cash and the benchmark for which all other movies must be judged.WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 9:50 pm
