Mindhunter

All the news from the peanut gallery and where all the nasty trash talk fails miserably.
It can get NSFW-ish here: you have been warned!

Watching Mindhunter again on Netflix, waiting for season 2 to be released.Have you seen this? Have you heard about this?
Supposed to be about the start of the FBI profiling of what came to be known as "Serial Killers."

There's a scene where they're talking about what makes serial killers; something that didn't much exist before a certain time, then starts happening regularly. It's suggested it's maybe the disconnect caused by the modern world (1977ish).

Where does that leave us today, with the lunacy we see: school spree killers?

True, and true.
Maybe we're only more aware of them, or maybe greater mobility combined with anonymity allowed serial killers to have their heyday in the last century. I assume increased surveillance will cut into their ability to move around unseen.

The answer is too many people on Earth that used to get weeded out by wars, disease, natural disasters, endless list. Natural selection. Now, any retard 400 pounder that would die in the woods a century ago is allowed to procreate with checks from their governments.

I'm actually going to be on season 5. If I'm caught in the next couple of years.
