Who would like to read

All the news from the peanut gallery and where all the nasty trash talk fails miserably.

I would definitely read the rest of that.

I like your Joker.
It's not forced humour or humour for the sake of humour. The humour is part of his narrative. It adds to what he's already saying.
I really like the first person as the second person spin. The way he talks about himself in the second person is well done.

You have me wondering who he has in the "fun room". Alfred?
I'm glad you like it. Obviously the rest of the narrative is not quite as fun, but I think it's a good transition between these parts of the story. I also think my explanation to how he became the joker is better than what's out there.

Okay, so my opinion of the work, with no bias. I read it as I would read any other project as a beta reader.

All kidding aside, this piece of work was better than just about every beta-book I have ever read in regards to style and content. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Wow, my favorite: “Steve from Jerry Springer strong” I almost spit my coffee. I love small analogies and witticisms. This small piece piece of prose had at least 3-4 gems.

Necro, you have legit chops. No joke (no pun intended)

Now, a few things I would change. The HEHEHEHA stuff would be and should he dialed down. It forces a reader to skip words and slows the flow. Maybe a few, then more HA! Etc. just my opinion.

Also, I would start with the story of the explosion and then fill in the story around it. It takes too long to get to what I consider to be a GENIUS take on Joker. Now, I do not know how Joker became himself, and if you wrote that storyline. But I LOVE IT! You just need to get to it quicker. People are impatient these days. They want the good early to grab them.

I am purely splitting hairs here however. Wow, that is some fun stuff. I don’t know man. You should write a real book. Your command of the tenses and wording is pretty fucking great.

Grade: 4 1/2 stars of five. I can’t get over how they built that business over the LZ of Superman. If you wrote that. Bravo.

I am going to read it again. Damn Necro, I am gushing.

Honestly, I think it could be longer.
You could play out the whole stand up comedian thing and perhaps make him resent his audience because they don't get the jokes.
And him tracking down the guy who shot him... that could be a really interesting back story.

Okay, so that is your explanation? That is great. I am sure you didn’t read my book, but I made it a point to come up with a completely original way for the monsters to evolve. One that had not been done before. I think that is important. And your is definitely great. Well done, punchy.

Thanks sincerely. To answer some of the criticism but with understanding and not necessarily disagreeing. It's a graphic novel. The laughing is more or less changed to match the drawings. Sometimes shorter, sometimes longer. I think I wrote it in the idea of how funny he thought his own humor was.
The reason I start at the beginning of his story is because his story has and has not been told for so long, that the build up is the teaser for the fans. Maybe I'm wrong here, but if DC did take this, or any true joker origin story, would be like one of the biggest things in a while. And the build up to the end would be the satisfaction of it. But I definitely see what you're saying to someone who's not as big a fan.

Yes this is my original take( as far as I am honestly aware) on the origin of the joker.

Hmmm. I'm not sure. I haven't really thought about that. I was focusing on the origin specifically so I dont know if those aspects would be diverging too far from this or not. But its definitely something to consider.

That isn’t really the point. The point is that I worked really hard to make the story original. I really dug your take. So , that wasn’t an ask, just and example. Again, props to the story. Love that.
