The wife only watches stuff over the air and she gets movies from the library routinely. We have Amazon Prime but she never uses it. During Xmas she watched a crapload of Hallmark movies off Youtube.

I do Amazon Prime, download routinely, watch a lot of documentaries and seminars on Youtube and during football season I pay for SlingTV to get ESPN / the SEC Network. On Sunday mornings I'll watch Premier League over the air.

We'd love to unbundle our pretty much unused DirectTV, but can't without having the price of everything else with AT&T raised. We'd actually see an overall price increase if we lost DirectTV. So we have service we rarely if ever use to keep our other AT&T services cost down.

Yeah, that has always been a problem. Another is their whole price structure and how it evolves over time. I have Dish. Signed up well over 10 years ago. Started with the sweet starter deal- $30 something for 6 months, 1 year whatever. Knew it would go up when it ended. $50 something. Then the cost creeps in as the years pass. $60, 72, 81, 93, 105, etc. Would not the smart thing be to reward your customers that stay on year after year. It doesn't even have to be a large discount. Throw us a bone. Slashed everything to the bone. Constant question on why I even still have it.
