you didn't like my cousin vinny? wtf? what is there not to like in that movie. just the bangability of Marisa Tomei was enough to carry that entire film.
Tomei made that movie! And she deserved that Oscar!

You have to put Star Wars in context of the times. People were wrapped around the theater waiting to buy tickets to that movie. Before it started, they made everyone get up and move inward to find open seats. In the opening, when that battle cruiser goes overhead, everyone was like "WHOAAHHH!"
And when the death star blew up there was clapping and cheering. The music was perfect. Darth Vader was the bomb.

Yeah, it's a childish story written by a guy who had probably never seen an actual vagina, but it was great for the times.

Same reason that Phoebe Cates should have gotten an Oscar for Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

When you say Star Wars #1 do you mean that piece of shit released in 1999 or the first film from 1977?

I guess. Easily the most ridiculous Oscar Winner in history. Talk with a Bronx accent to a bumpkin Southern jury about different tire sizes on different car models before Judge Munster. Win case. Win Oscar. Good fucking lord.

It can't possibly be as stupid as the original "Top Gun," can it?

And add "Independence Day" to my hated list. The person(s) who wrote that script should be shot. :x

P.S. The lines they gave Bill Pullman/The President to say are on my "All Time Lamest" list

 Remember you being adamant about your hatred for "Independence Day". You are preaching to the choir. Worst Major movie ( except the special effects) ever released. God, the screenplay for that movie was like nails on a chalkboard. Cringe worthy every 2 minutes. If they approached it like "Sharknado" (campy) it would have been OK. But they were dead serious. Good Lord.

even for the times it marginally entertaining if you were under 15 yrs old, almost saw the fishing lines hold the model spacecraft, I say The Matrix changed movie special effects more than Star Bores...
