The Royal Tenenbaums. All I heard was how this movie changed everyone's life, and how deep and serious yet so funny it was. The "perfect balance of drama and comedy" they said. All I saw was a horrid film without hilarity, and no real point to its story. A bunch of good actors wasted on terrible and self-indulgent material. Not even Bill Murray could save that steaming pile of shit.

Star Wars #1 thru whatever ...story non existent,all the actors probably got a D+ in acting class, yet recycling shit seems to be successful box office over and over,sorta like Steinfeld,
Bond films---Daniel Craig is good but not after the remake of Casino Royale
Harry Potter -all,,except for when Emma is on the screen,12 yr nephew also thought it was moronic
X-men -- even special effects couldn't rescue bad story line

You would hate that movie.. shocked you've even heard of it.. it is a bit difficult to watch but not from a lack of quality.. it takes a pretty dismal look at the deterioration of society in an imagined future not much different than our own present day. Apathy, greed, lust, total moral depravity.. the acting alone is top notch aside from Kubrick's vision and cinematography. Malcolm McDowell was born to play Alex Delarge.

Now if you wanna trash Kubrick, i'll admit I've never really gotten 2001 A Space Odyssey.. visually it's breathtaking and the score is excellent but the story escapes me.. maybe I just didn't have the patience for it. Either way.. you're a fuckwit with no taste and a questionable track record at best.
