Look back to your link on the requirements to get alimony. There *is* alimony, but Texas family law makes it rather difficult to get, circumstances withstanding. It's far easier to get alimony in Florida.

Child support ends on the 31st, she needs to show a need for an increase in alimony and I can counter by showing she hasn't tried to improve her situation.
