So, to my Northern UJR bretheran
I must be getting older. But I'm finding it really really hard to get through this Winter for some reason. Total boredom, lack of drive, 10+ hours sleep every night. Any suggestions? I find the depth of my depression especially concerning. Haven't seen that since my divorce 24 years ago. Just can't figure out what's wrong. Tired of all the shit.

A hot bath can do wonders. If you totally immerse yourself completely under water, head to toe, for about 15 minutes you'll feel better.

It is attributed to a low vitamin D, a.k.a. a lack of sunshine.WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Thu Feb 14, 2019 2:23 amI know. Just carrying a major punch this year, for some damn reason.Reservoir Dog wrote: ↑Thu Feb 14, 2019 2:02 am It's called the winter blahs. Everyone gets them sometimes.
Shut your computer off and take a long walk. In the sun. Bring a 6-pack. Don't stop until we tell you.

low testosterone could be the cause of all your symptoms. Get a blood test done. One that tests male hormone levels. TRT could help.
I blame Biker.

I love winter. We got our first snow of the season a couple days ago. I enjoy the cool weather. I'm not bothered by the hours of darkness at all.

Go on a vacation (or at least a long weekend) that has a sand, a beach, girls in little bikinis and tropical drinks. Then come back and bitch about the weather like the rest of us.

In defense of JRS, I'm sure he is unaware that Vancouver gets very little snow. You did say that you had your first snow a couple days ago.kwebber wrote: ↑Thu Feb 14, 2019 8:39 pmWhoa dude, check the attitude!! That was uncalled for. In my neck of the woods we had 11" over the past 2 days, and there has been snow here since Nov 9.
In Vancouver, I am 99% positive that no one there owns a snowmobile. Here the kids take them to school.

Re: So, to my Northern UJR bretheran
There's a dude with a snow mobile on the bed of his truck just around the corner from the house I'm working at in the middle of Vancouver. I haven't seen it off the truck, but damn, we've had like 10 inches of snow in the last week. I think that set an all time record for snowfall in February in Vancouver. If the snowmobile is still there today, I'll take a picture as proof.megman wrote: ↑Thu Feb 14, 2019 8:51 pmIn defense of JRS, I'm sure he is unaware that Vancouver gets very little snow. She's a whore. When she walks down the street the snowmen drop their pants and yell "here comes the snowblower!".

OK, I'm extremely embarrassed I posted this thread last night. I apologize. I never post anything here ever about my "feelings". For some damn reason, I have been really down lately and kinda hit a low spot last night. Decided to pull the bootstraps up today. Got out and trimmed all my trees (including my 2 huge pecans). Took all day but I got it done. Really tired and feel much better. Next project tomorrow.
