But seriously, I wanted to let you know (I'm sure the vast majority don't even think of my area but should) about some developments that have or are occurring around here that are really going to be not only regional but global in scale. Small scale- for the 5th month in a row- Midland's unemployment rate is a nationwide low 2.1% (How is that rate even possible?). Just within the last 18 months,(15 miles from me) 3 of the nation's largest solar farms have been constructed and are online. Consider, the entire W Texas area is the densest concentration of Wind power in the World. Ignorance just doesn't look good on you son. I live in a semi-Mountainous region where the prime areas are mesas that are 1,500 above the plains below. Higher wind speeds. I'll talk global later, but ranchers in promising oil areas have been paid $500,000+ per acre just to drill on their land/ per well.
