JD back in old UJ Mod days boasted of a devise that could track within 100 miles. He didn't mention it very long and nothing after. Must have been a bust.

I meant tracking as in LOGGING. So people wouldn't be able to create more than one account from a particular IP. Of course, you can get around this, but it will stop most lazy fakers.

Speaking as board admin, we don't explicitly disallow alternate or fake accounts. To some extent, we might even encourage it, if it works towards making for board traffic and membership growth. We don't want members making fake accounts just to go around bans (and yea, we know who you are...), but as long as the active users here, whether they're using their main account or a side (fake, alternate, etc) account, are behaving themselves we're not actually bothered by it. I trust the mods with looking for and stamping out the accounts abusing the privilege.

I have an alternate account, too, ImaQDpie, to see how the board works as a non-elevated user.
