Eh, it's not always exact. Our little IP locator puts me about few miles almost directly north of where I actually live. It also depends on what you mean by "anywhere near". You don't live vaguely between Philly and Allentown? Sometimes our IP locator is pretty accurate, but again sometimes not. The IP locator we use at work is almost (but only almost) within a few hundred feet or less of the actual spot, good enough to find the errant router or switch or work purposes when they start wandering off.

The troll Smurph account puts him at just across the street from where Slap said he had his trailer. That's close.
