aftter that mind blowing, spectacular half time show
if it doesn't make you in agreement with my previous green day post, I will say you are free to your opinion, but it proves my point. Back around 1992 and 1994 I worked in my location on filming for videos. In 92 it was probably for the most well known "hard rock" performer going back to about 1968, some may say he invented heavy metal, so the day after his concert they wanted people to show up at the arena to shoot a video and not many people showed up. Everyone, the way I figured was burnt out from the show the night before. The night before though there were cameras filming, this was fall of 92 , and signs were thruout the arena, you may be filmed etc, etc. So one of the guys in charge was ok that no one showed up, i mean like 500 showed up and the night before there were about 6500, and the guy said , that's ok, we just need some people in front of the stage and we can use footage from last night to "fill everything in". That being said, i have never in my life, and I've seen alot and worked alot in this type of stuff, seen a "performance" so full of pre recorded audio and video in my life. I'd venture to say , I don't think anymore than 10 % of that "performance" was actually live. Total crap, not a word of english, and please don't say, USA has no national language, bullshit. Tell that to some old timer from the netherlands that spoke only dutch when he got here in about 1955 , "i had to learn english, now everywhere there's 20 languages printed all over, I want to be american" That was an old timer at work, and he was awesome. I was going to say nasty stuff if you agreed that that halftime show was just the best thing ever, but I realize if you feel that way, you're just part of the problem. Like Ted Nugent said the other night, which I helped a little on that show, as he recorded the audio for possible live release "If you're not pissing off the assholes, you're an asshole." He also said his daughter in law gave birth to his grand son that day named River Wolf Nugent, "I already bought him a bow and arrow and a machine gun, he can go kill some animals with the bow and arrow and kill the assholes with the machine gun!". I'm all for it because when he gets older, that's probably what it will come down to, especially after "normalizing" all the halftime show, iranian gay bullshit. End of Rant... J-Bird passes the stick...

Since Peurto Rico will never get an Olympics, I feel like last night was their one opportunity to show what their opening ceremony would have looked like. Next year I hope they do Afghanastan.

It is quite possible both are true. There may have been a prerecorded show that was broadcast and people there saw the live show.Animal wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 4:20 pmi don't understand. it sounds like its really live to me. what am i missing?Reservoir Dog wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 4:14 pmThat's an interesting theory.jsdspif wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 2:08 am That being said, i have never in my life, and I've seen alot and worked alot in this type of stuff, seen a "performance" so full of pre recorded audio and video in my life. They did that when Whitney Houston sang the National Anthem.

Well that's interesting. And honestly it would make sense because I was wondering how flawlessly they pulled off the production with so many people and moving parts and roaming cameras within the cast. and without any stumbles or mistakes.nerd_alert wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 8:34 pmIt is quite possible both are true. But how would they sync the televised version with the background of the full stadium with all the lights and effects going during the live show?

just spit-balling here but they could have had the prerecorded version piped through an earbud to help with the syncing and keep the timeing close enoughReservoir Dog wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 9:47 pmThat's plausible.nerd_alert wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 8:34 pmIt is quite possible both are true. Re: aftter that mind blowing, spectacular half time show
maybe the entire game was taped ahead of time? Although, that's probably not possible because that game was so bad they would have probably reshot the entire thing before broadcasting it.Reservoir Dog wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 9:47 pmThat's plausible.nerd_alert wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 8:34 pmIt is quite possible both are true. Re: aftter that mind blowing, spectacular half time show
I just watched the thing kid rock did or the first song he did, and I'm not a big kid rock fan but he kicked some major ass. Alot of people state he was lip syncing so he posted a vid of just he and his dj in a room and just reciting the lyrics as in the performance the dj probably "sang" "rapped" or whatever probably 66% of it, which I figured to be the case. I don't know the name of that song some weird long one word but he's done the song every tour since 92 or something, so there's no reason to lipsync it. It's def. more my style than that bugs bunny shit. not to mention there are actually people on stage playing musical instruments, wow! what a concept, actual musical instruments at a concert.

I thought the game itself was fantastic. It's not the NFL's fault that New England is boring and was over-matched.
