Now I have to make my picks in the straight-up win/lose pools I'm in.

So yeah, this fucking sucks!
The Skins are mopping up on the lions right now. Never go against your team. Better to lose when they lose, than lose when they win.
I burned in my bracket pools, but I did go with my boys in the straight-up pools. So that worked out okay. :D

Lions were out-everythinged in this game. Out-played and out-coached.
Golden boy Offensive Coordinator Ben Johnson called a shit game. Aaron Glenn's defense couldn't stop anything. Goff sucked ass. Lions came out flat and aside from a few glimpses of life looked like they thought they could win by just showing up.
Lone bright spot? Fucking Jahmyr Gibbs is an absolute stud.
Congrats RD, Daniels looks like the real deal. You should be set for the next decade at QB
I heard Ben Johnson's name mentioned this morning at the top of the list for head coaching candidates for the Dallas Cowboys. It was a Dallas sports radio station, and the guy said that Johnson's daughter was in his daughter's gymnastics class. So, I assume Johnson's family may live in Dallas?

I really haven't heard any strong predictions on who Dallas is interested in.

I haven't heard that one. The big one here is that Vegas will be his choice with DC Aaron Glenn going to New Orleans.
Dallas does offer a "stable" qb situation though even if it is Prescott. Johnson has shown that he really doesn't have an ego so Dallas could be a good fit having to deal with Jerry Jones every day.

Ugh. Not sure how I feel about this. The Bears organization is a train wreck. The team does have some talent though. Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams could be scary.

Taking the open HC job in your own division is brutal!

I walked away for a bit when the 4th quarter was almost over. Then I get texts, then my youngest caked screaming how they're won.

There was blatant holding against the Bears on that TD play, but every zebra on the field must have been busy checking their Spotify Wrapped or something.

Garrett jumped the snap. No flag. Brutal.
Put an asterisk beside his record.

While it is true that Miles Garret got his sack record with an extra game in the season, the full context is required before shouting "asterick!".

In order for a defender to get a "sack" the other team must be running a "passing play". So, rather than comparing players based on the number of games played, its much more fair to compare them based on how many opportunities the defenders had because the other team ran a "passing play".

In 2001, Strahan got 22.5 sacks when the other teams ran 567 passing plays in 16 games.

In 2021, TJ Watts tied with 22.5 sacks when the other teams ran 557 passing plays in the 15 games Watts played that 17 game season.

In 2025, Garret got 23 sacks when the other teams ran 540 pass plays in 17 games.

Strahan's record was bullshit anyway. Farve, yes I spelled it like that on purpose, basically gave him the record breaker.
