Mr Collins is not long for this world.

He was easily the greatest drummer as a song writer and singer. There is no other. Maybe Levon sings a bit better, but he was not that writer.

Maybe Don was a better writer.

Phil is/was better.

The whole thing was Howard Shore (SNL music director before Paul) and Dan. Dan was a huge blues expert and John fed off it. And SNL gave them a spot first season.

Hawk likes drummers Carter Beauford and Phil Collins. Both are amazing talents. After that it kind of goes off the rails.
