I have a problem
Fucking Harbor Frieght. I spend more money there. Yesterday I bought their wooden work bench to put in my kitchen as an island. It fucking works perfectly for my kitcgen. The vice is a bonus and the peg holes on the ends will work nicely when I'm making mead to put tubing through. The rest are getting either cherry or walnut dowels as fill. Gonna hammer out a few things to decorate it with on the sides. After 5 years I'm finally starting to decide how I want to decorate my house.

My ex use to tell me when I walked into Canadian Tire my eyes would light up like a kid in a candy store.

Re: I have a problem
I've been buying harbor freight since it was mail order, what was that 1979 or something. What I remember best were the 1.99 40 piece socket sets. I think their quality has gone up so much over the years. I bought their cheap 12" compound angle mitre saw or whatever. Don't even remember what I bought it for but I took it over to my tightwad friends house.Just so happened he was just starting to make all the trim for his home, he started from trees, but he did all the sawing, where applicable on the saw and he knows woodworking stuff and he couldn't have been happier, he even offered to buy it from me, I just laughed because he was willing to spend some money. He is now in about the 6th month of trying to balance 2 motorcycle tires. I just told him why buy it I'm leaving it here for you to use. I said there are probably cycle shops that would balance them for you, "you know what that costs?" I called a place about 5 miles from us, $15 per tire if it's mounted and ready to go onto the bike per tire plus wheel weights. He made his own wheelweights to 100'th of a gram or something. One day when I was there he realized the tire wasn't fully seated on the rim. It only took him about a month to realize that. So he sticks prybars in there and pop, poked a hole thru the new innertube, I laughed so hard I peed. I told him "guess you'll have to spend some money now" gets the tube out "I think I can patch that , a new tube is $17". This guy only makes about 200 grand a year ,damned near a mansion here and a winter home in florida where his wife spends about 6 months out of the year.

I never thought of Harbor Freight for interior decorating ideas. You are truly a man among men.

I wonder if it would be possible to build a house using only Harbor Freight items inside.

Considering grey anodized diamond plate to redo my cabinet doors. I have tools and knives laying all over anyway. Might as well lean into it.
Btw, the drawers on that island let me empty out 2 lichtenstein drawers and 1/2 of my kitchen knives.
