Entertainment, and the Lack Thereof...

So I'm watching Colony on Netflix. Season 3 episodes just dropped.
Thank God! Nothing on TV entertains me, anymore.
Have to be in a mood to watch Walking Dead, even. Don't care about women emoting, inner turmoil, and such. Just kill zombies and fight your medieval wars.

Whatcha got for me?

Walking Dead is unwatchable now. Youre not missing anything. I gave up on it.

If you like sci-fi, check out Love, Death, and Robots on Netflix. Each story is around 10 minutes long, and most have some nudity/violence, so don't watch with the kiddos around.

Watched Walking Dead from S1E1 until the season they killed Glen and the crew cut military guy. A couple of episodes after that and I was done. Never been back.

Colony wasn't bad for 2 seasons. Let me know if you like season 3. Shows like that tend to get bad in year 3-4.

Four episodes into season 4, seems OK. It's hard to remember everything that's gone before, as I binge watched it over a year ago.

Someone in another thread mentioned Black Summer on Netflix. Just binged it. I liked it. Hope there’s a season 2.

I was just fixing to post to HighnDry to mention that it was your thread. OK, I watched the first 2 episodes of "Black Summer" and I have my initial reaction.Way too early to judge the entire series, since I'm only 2 episodes in. First, holy shit, the excitement level is off the charts- with the gore tamped down vis "The Walking Dead". Maybe increases in later episodes. Looks very well done. Do see some problems for it's future for it to make Season 2. First- the length of the episodes- the pilot was barely 43 minutes, E2 maybe 34. Is the last E1 going to be a gif. Making the the same mistakes from TWD. Everybody on foot when there are 200 millions cars loaded with gas, just need the keys. Showing people stalking other cars for their gas 3 days in when their are 500 million gallons of fresh gas stored in convienece stores nationwide for the taking. Nobody can find weapons when you can break into half the homes in the country and load up your arsenal. And the final BS. To become a zombie, you have to be bit by a zombie, right. Not here or TWD, E1- lady gets run over by a car and dies on the road minutes later. Instantly becomes a zombie. Is there some kinda a zombie shit in the air?

I mentioned that in my first 2 sentences. I'm impressed so far. Looks awesome. Wonder about a Season 2, though. Zombie overload. TWD, LA sequel, zombie movies etc.

Season 3 is the best of them all. They need to find a new home for this show.
I am watching season 3 now. It’s very good. Wish I’d gone back and rewatched the old ones. Maybe Netflix can pick this up if it’s been cancelled?

Just wrapped up S03EP08 of Colony. Not bad. Glad I watched it and look forward to it continuing.

I've watched 2 episodes now of Black Summer. Not sure if I can bring myself to watch anymore. There is so much bouncing around on the same situation for so many different points it's like dejavu over and over and over......

That’s what I liked most about it. I watched all 8 eps. I liked it overall, but my favorite eps are the multiple point of view ones.

I'm starting season 4 of Better Call Saul tonight. Hoping not to be let down. It's rare for a show to be good past season 3.

I heard Season 4 was coming to Netflix in April, so in March I started watching the show over to refresh my memory. Been waiting patiently but still not on Netflix. I am ready to order it on iTunes. WTF....

I actually still get DVDs in addition to streaming Netflix.
