What we funded, what we knew, what was being done with coronaviruses, etc. No one cares if he specifically knows how the virus got started spreading. All anyone cares is how much he knew leading up to it so we can better determine how that frames the whole environment during the time the virus started spreading.

fucking bats have been around for millions of years. they could have started spreading the virus at any point in time. But this happened in late 2019. In Wuhan China. I don't think its unreasonable for people to want to know, other than bats, what else was going on in Wuhan China in late 2019 that involved coronavirus.
