If that's what the juror fixated on, and neither the defense nor the prosecution made any effort to turn each piece of testimony and evidence to their side, each juror can take it any way they want. Jurors cannot be punished for reaching a "wrong" decision.

My sister's first husband was a cop with the Houston PD for 35 years, my good friend and flight instructor has been a cop with various agencies for about 30 years, and I even looked into the Orlando PD when I first moved here. I respect the basic duties of a police officer. But too many are abusing the notions and responsibilities entailed in being a police officer, and so are bringing serious disrespect towards their jobs, agencies and profession.

Yet this juror obviously was asleep during that or whatever, because her point in the interview after the trial was that image of his hands in his pockets was the most damning thing she saw.

when i said no reason. shit happened prior to them assaulting me while i was cuffed. my friends and i were leaving a night club. this smoking hot chick was in front of us leaving and my friend made a crack about her and i said something too but it was amongst us. the bouncer freaked out on us and started to fight us. typical juice monkey bouncer in a club. so there was a fight with several bouncers and my friends. it was literally 10 seconds and the cops showed up. i had the bounce in a rear naked choke. he was basically out when the cops grabbed me and cuffed me. they stood me up and walked to the car. then the pulled my shirt over my head so i couldn't see shit and they beat me like a punching bag. i then sat in jail all busted up for 2 days until the judge released with no charges. yeah i hate cops and my big brother is a cop/

Well (at least from my experience), each side is limited to the number of jurors they can "strike". So they start with a questionnaire. and then ask a few questions based on your answers to certain questions. And those questions are designed to weed out people with pre-conceived outcomes or who have some kind of personal opposition to some aspect of the case. If you lie about those things, then they would have no reason to suspect you should be removed from the pool of jurors.

I'm not 100% sure but from what I read they had a questionnaire that asked if he attended any marches or rallys and he said no...... If that is true that could be reason for an appeal but still very hard to overturn a conviction
