You're right on all points except for the part where US is losing, and the Nazi partAnalHamster wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2026 1:21 pm The strait is closed until you put boots in the ground to secure the land inside launch range, at which point you're looking at Vietnam level casualties. They don't need a navy, just their unlimited 20k one way drones. Chump went into this with no thought and no planning, just a vague desire to distract from him being in the epstein files. He's demonstrated the American shield is fairly worthless. Totally unnecessary war and you are losing.
Remember when y'all voted for the clown, remember what he was saying? This is why the Nazis took power, there's that hard core 30% or so that just cannot ever admit ever that they've been lied to.
The US is losing strategically - obviously no great issue with bombing a country, air dominance achieved. What Iran has done is demonstrated you cannot fulfil security guarantees in the region so US bases are just a liability now. It'll be boots on the ground if you want the strait reopened which will mean a lot of casualties of the type you actually notice.BombaySapphire wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2026 8:25 pmYou're right on all points except for the part where US is losing, and the Nazi partAnalHamster wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2026 1:21 pm The strait is closed until you put boots in the ground to secure the land inside launch range, at which point you're looking at Vietnam level casualties. The strait will be opened soon enough. The military action is literally only 2 weeks old and the strait has been "closed" for, what? 2 days?AnalHamster wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2026 1:21 pm The strait is closed until you put boots in the ground to secure the land inside launch range, at which point you're looking at Vietnam level casualties. After 5 years of Trump as POTUS it's hard to believe how many folks don't understand how he sees things. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with his viewpoint on this but I do see some logic in it:
Its way too early to call it a loss (or a win).AnalHamster wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2026 8:41 pmThe US is losing strategically - obviously no great issue with bombing a country, air dominance achieved. Only point I've made with regard to the Nazis is a third of the people voted for them and stuck with them no matter what, and that is just historical fact. We're seeing the same thing with chump voters no matter what he does.

I voted for Trump, but I didnt vote for this
Oil is a commodity, everyone is affected when a quarter of the supply stops. China will use money to buy oil elsewhere, you can already see the price surge. The strait isn't opening any time soon either, chumps latest plan to beg allies for ships would take weeks to put together, if anyone actually wants to join your war.CHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2026 8:15 amAfter 5 years of Trump as POTUS it's hard to believe how many folks don't understand how he sees things. He is looking at this situation just like he looks at NATO and the UN: he wants others that benefit from our involvement to contribute. In his eyes he is ridding the area of a leading sponsor of global terrorism which benefits everyone. The Iranians last ditch effort, their "Hail Mary" to coerce the US into allowing the regime to survive, is to "shut down" the strait. Very little of our oil comes through there while estimates say 35-50% of China's does. No traffic in the strait directly affects others, like China, way more than it affects us. Again, in his eyes, the countries that most directly benefit from the free flow of ships through the strait should have some skin in the game in keeping it that way.
1)Trump knew closing the Straight was Iran's main weapon of retaliation if he attacked.CHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2026 8:15 amAfter 5 years of Trump as POTUS it's hard to believe how many folks don't understand how he sees things. their strategy is to get enough countries pissed off and calling Trump to end the attacks. Its not a bad strategy actually. That coupled with price of oil and people not getting the shipments they need. All they are trying to do is get out of this with control of the country still in their hands. they don't give a damn about the damage or the loss of lives. they killed more of their own people a few weeks ago than we have.
Damn, your ears must have started burning late Friday evening while I was editing the member list, "where the fuck has AH gone, why did he abandon us?!" I was thinking. And boom! here you are
Their inferior tech has hit 11 US bases in those neighbouring countries, including a half billion dollar radar system. Seems like a fairly solid tactic, not like any of those countries can seriously challenge Iran. They've relied on the US shield, which it turns out relied on not being tested.
Biker emailed to say how much he wuvs me and missed me so I thought I'd check in. Still a bit of a righty echo chamber but now chumps chickens are coming home to roost. Citizens shot dead by his goons on US streets, NATO teetering, now your very own forever war.QillerDaemon wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2026 8:45 pmDamn, your ears must have started burning late Friday evening while I was editing the member list, "where the fuck has AH gone, why did he abandon us?!" I've regretted 47 since he somehow was reelected. I'm not sure this country will be able to reverse all the damage he can potentially cause in the next couple of years, if it can ever be. I won't go as far to say that every Trump voter is a traitor to the US, but I can certainly think it on a dark Florida morning. And if those connected to him somehow squeeze out another term, that's lights-out for the US. Whatever we were, we'll have lost.
