He was easily the greatest drummer as a song writer and singer. There is no other. Maybe Levon sings a bit better, but he was not that writer.

Maybe Don was a better writer.

Phil is/was better.

It is crazy to think Genesis may have had the 2 best song creators since John and Paul.

The whole thing was Howard Shore (SNL music director before Paul) and Dan. Dan was a huge blues expert and John fed off it. And SNL gave them a spot first season.

Hawk likes drummers Carter Beauford and Phil Collins. Both are amazing talents. After that it kind of goes off the rails.

Phil Collins' imminent demise has been the rumour for years. The old man has some fight in him still!
