When UJ collapsed, I kind of moved on with my life, but definitely missed the collection of crazies from the boards. I wasn't big contributor, but i was highly entertained by this crew.

Today, while mindlessly googling, I threw in a couple of the old user names from UJ and up pops this board. On a quick scan, I see a lot of familiar names and some of the same old fun back and forth banter.

I'm curious about a few things:

- When did this board start?

- Any major news that I missed? Anybody pass away or anything like that?

- Does Evvan still have that spectacular ass that I'd like to cover in BBQ sauce?

I can tell you that Biker is someone using that nick name and is a fraud. Hawkfan is still gender confused. Westtexascrude is in early stages of dimentia. HowietheHat has blown half his retirement savings on vietnamese hand jobs. And Analhamster has a chance to move to number 8 in all time argument leaders.

he posted the other day in a call out thread from evvan. but other than that, i haven't seen him on here.

Things didn't go so well for him. Turns out he was a football coach at Penn State.

Are you unfamiliar with the way UJR works? This is pretty standard procedure.

Hello and welcome! We fully recognize we're not really the old UJ, but we're doing what we can to be "what's left" after it finally and actually died. When Hoover didn't bother any more. When Hoov let the old board go through a few death rattlings, I started the UJ subreddit as a way to keep the user base with at least something to keep in touch with each other. It's still up, but BigRedRetard recognized a sub on Reddit really wasn't going to cut it, and started up this board. This is actually the *second* UJR: the first board host apparently got offended with some of our NSFW posts, and just simply took that board down one day without warning. BRR found a better and much less nosy board host, and here we are!

BBR is the full site admin and our patron, and I'm the board admin. Evvan, Hawkfan, Analhamster, and Biker are our dutifully overworked mods.

Like you, a lot of the members found our site by googling around, and all old UJ users are happily welcome to come join us. We're not completely sure, but Slap told us on the first UJR board that Smurph died, and gave us what I thought was pretty good proof. Honestly, anyone can join as any member, but we'd really want to know a particular user really is who they were on UR. But there's not much we can do about trolls, other than find them out and ban them. I'm leaving user name changes open (for now), so if you want to take back your old UR name, feel free to do it. If someone has it and is obviously not you, let us know.

And yep, that's Evv's glorious behind in the image at the upper left! Basically our board avatar. If you know of any old UJ members that aren't here, let them know and they'll always have a home here!

Thanks for bringing me up to speed. Bummed to hear about Smurph but he was living in death's waiting room. Glad I once again have a place to come and look at Evvan's glorious rear, even if the pic is a little small.
