Trump threatening to unleash illegals on sanctuary cities. Not presidential at all. Endangering or threatening to endanger or otherwise bring trouble to opponents - not a good look. Not to mention you have supporters there, as well.

Glad you agree the illegals are dangerous.

its certainly an unusual tactic. sort of a paradox for those people that are in favor of protecting the illegals. I guess Trump calls it his "be careful what you wish for" strategy.

While there is a part of me that chuckles at the irony; two wrongs don't make a right.

In fact, I could see this becoming something remarkably terrible in about 15 years should this tit-for-tat be allowed to continue to its logical conclusion.

This.
But I'd say 10 years.
6 if Trump gets reelected.

Do you think the Democrat strategies are any better? Candidates vowing to pursue reparations, for example. As educated people who are mostly not communists, I can’t imagine they believe it’s a good idea, but they want them votes.

It's no different than Trumps wall shtick. Reparations are never going to happen. It's just fodder for their target audience and they should be ashamed of themselves for pulling the same kind of shit

If you look at what they've actually said on the topic, most simply support a commission to research the topic, and the few who've suggested direct spending are taking about investment in education and health services rather than cutting a cheque to every black person. It's not so scary if you look at it, but it sure is a scary word to scare you with.
