August will be 14 years since my last Marlboro.

12 years since my last Cuban cigar.

I quit in 1978

I'm at 17yrs with no cigarettes and around 12yrs with no cigar/pipe tobacco. I used Skoal bandits for a bit, but now I just use the Zyn type nicotine pouches.

Out of all of it I miss the pipe tobacco the most.

I quit my already small cigarette habit when Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer, apparently from asbestos rather than from his 3 pack a day habit.

Don't miss it a bit, and I've turned into a rabid anti-smoker, the annoying kind that can't even stand the smell of it on clothes or breath.

Never smoked cigarettes but am starting to love Zyn Nicotine Pouches. Especially while golfing or after a few beers.

Never was. Enjoy a nice cigar once in a while. Girl who cuts my hair is a smoker. I could literally smell it on her hands as she was cutting today. Nasty.

13+ years after 35 years of a 2 pack a day habit...menthols were lung busters.

I was probably a pack a day for 25+ years, and quit cold turkey 15ish years ago. When I started dating my current wife.

Started smoking around 1982. Used Copenhagen to get off cigarettes in 2007, used vaping to quit chew in 2015, still vaping.
Probably smoke around 2 or 3 cigars a month in the summer.

I stopped regular smoking years ago after struggling to quit several times. For me, switching to vaping made it so much easier to drop cigarettes and even dip. Now I just vape, and I like trying different devices and liquids. It’s less about the nicotine and more about the flavors and routines now, so I don’t even miss cigarettes anymore. I got into rebuildable atomizers a while back and found the products from Vapefly to be super reliable for that. They're worth checking out if you want something a bit more customizable for your vaping setup.

I quit in 1978. It got to when I inhaled I got the hiccups.

started chewing in 6th grade 1981. chewed at least 1 can a day until i quit in 2008. if i was on the golf course i would chew an additional can a day. started smoking regularly when i stopped chewing and started drinking heavily. got sober on 9/1/2013 and stopped smoking on 9/1/2018. one of the things that keeps me sober and not using tobacco is how i framed it up in my mind. i mentally see people who drink and smoke as completely weak and classless. basically...the scum of the earth do these things. i know i will catch shit for saying that but its how i have to frame things up mentally to not drink or smoke.

And yet pork will gobble up wieners like Oscar Myers pays by the gulp.

I never have and never will but most of my ex girlfriends did so I'm pretty familiar with how gross it is.

Never really smoked cigarettes but I used to have maybe three cigars a year up until 6 years ago

i was going to text you about the game but i knew we were going to lose. hope you are doing well bro. i know the holidays can be rough.

I have a pack and I go outside to smoke one every now and then for an excuse to leave the house and go outside for ten minutes of peace and quiet alone. Like maybe one a week to one every three weeks? I vape every day though….

That's not bad at all. One of my daughters is in the process of quitting and is smoking about the same as you.

Not since Feb 99. Got a humidor with a decent amount of cigars, haven't even had one of them for a fair few years
