I grew up on Sheik, the original, Big Time Wrestling, he was the man. I met his wife and we became pretty close friends as in she'd say stuff and wink at me, but she treated everyone that way. Sheik's son Tom, again, as soon as he saw me at shows they were running AWWL he'd stick his hand out "thanks for coming, how's it going" Sheik's son Eddie jr. , I'll just say , he wasn't friendly , I'll leave it at that. So the AWWL shows I was still married to my fairly new immigrated wife from Phillippines so Joyce (Sheik's wife) and hitomi (Sabu's wife) immediately took my wife under their wing. So Sabu was there not wrestling , just hanging out talking to someone and he was a bad looking m'fer. Scars all over head , arms . chest (because just open button up shirt) so Joyce said go over and say Hi to sabu. I was no way he looks mad and mean' Joyce says "he's a sweetheart" and winked at me. She said so many things to me with a wink, but everyone that made friends with her agreed, she was awesome. She kept telling my wife and I "once Sheik gets better we'll get you kids to the house, but be fore warned, you'll probably meet Sheik" Sheik lived it so bring in Sabu , I suggest all you m'fer's that think wrestling is fake or Sabu or Sheik is full of shit, buy Sabu's book.
