The former corporate controller of the Trump Organization broke down in tears Tuesday while testifying in former President Trump’s civil fraud trial, saying he “gave up” on his job because of the company’s mounting legal woes.

Ex-Trump executive Jeffrey McConney took the witness stand for the fourth day in the trial. The case was brought against the former president by New York Attorney General Letitia James (D).

A judge ruled Tuesday that Donald Trump committed fraud for years while building the real estate empire that catapulted him to fame and the White House, and he ordered some of the former president’s companies removed from his control and dissolved.

Judge Arthur Engoron, ruling in a civil lawsuit brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, found that Trump and his company deceived banks, insurers and others by massively overvaluing his assets and exaggerating his net worth on paperwork used in making deals and securing loans.

Engoron ordered that some of Trump’s business licenses be rescinded as punishment, making it difficult or impossible for them to do business in New York, and said he would continue to have an independent monitor oversee Trump Organization operations.

If not successfully appealed, the order would strip Trump of his authority to make strategic and financial decisions over some of his key properties in the state.

I think it's been well established that you trying to figure out fraud never works out well for you. So in that regard, two things. Clearly the defense has not been going rosy, but I wouldn't expect you to realize that when you intentionally chose to remain ignorant on this subject. I need to replace a 2 ton chain hoist in my shop. The mechanics said that its getting really slow and having trouble lifting really heavy stuff. Its really old. To replace it is several thousand dollars for a new one, but I found one just like it, used, on ebay. But the guys want $795 for it. Which I think is ridiculous. I made them an offer of $400 and they said "no thank you". Do you know any Attorney Generals that I can get to file fraud charges on them for this illegal attempt to trick me into thinking its worth more than I think its worth? Thanks.

PS I have several more of these types of lawsuits if this attorney general is looking to make a name for themselves.
