He was a vital part of the "gang of eight" when dealing with immigration reform.
Too bad he couldn't have secured a stronger choice for VP, otherwise Obama might not have been elected. Palin was one of the most baffling decisions ever made. Strong statement considering the continuing ineptitude of the GOP for the past 20+ years.
