Me: '89 and Texas. Don't miss much about it except for decent BBQ.
Wife is '72 and Iowa, doesn't miss it at all.
This is our home state now, we're going nowhere.

Most of my family has been here since '90. I joined the herd 6 months ago. I don't like the snowbird crowds.

Pt St Lucie is at least a pretty nice place. You could be in worse areas. Titusville, or Auburndale, or Port Richey. Lake Wales or Palatka. Hell, half hour north of you is Ft Pierce, truly of the great shit-holes of our fair state.
