I think it is a mistake not to look at the transgendered phenomena more closely. There is a high rate of suicide and other mental illnesses in this community from what I have seen. You can't tell me all of them are not from being accepted. It is something that needs to be studied as carefully as possible so ar know what is going on and how to either help them accept themselves or treat any possible mental illness.
