After all the lawsuits, recounts, tossed ballots and whining, whom will be sworn in as President in January?

Multiple options and you can change your picks at any time including next May.

I picked Pelosi because I think Trump and his lawyers won't give up.

Not sure but I recall an AV bet with AH. I mean really. What’s the worst that can happen if Trump wins?

The SC only hears what’s thrown in front of it. So if Cap’n knocks up another married gal since he can’t pull a single one, she’ll have to go to DC, where abortions are so common you get airline miles when you pay for them.

Each SC justice decides whether or not to take a case based on the submission of a writ of certiorari. If four of the nine agree with the writ, the SC takes the case. They get so many a year, and the vast majority of writs are passed by, and often by the justices' law clerks rather than the justices themselves.

The SC "only hears what's thrown in front of it" by those writs. A more conservative (or liberal) court may decide to agree to take on a writ and its case based on the vote of those justices who want to hear it. That's the idea behind keeping a more balanced court, neither side would be able to take cases it might not have ordinarily.

Can you point me to where in the constitution where it says a black President cannot select a nominee in his final year of holding office? Can you point me to where in the constitution it says there are to be 9 Justices?

Obama wasn't prevented from nominating a candidate. The candidate was rejected without a hearing.

If the black President was Obama, he DID select someone in his final year. Remember?

So The Senate failed to do its Constitutional duty?

Rejected the candidate. Job done. Obvious he would not get the ok, why waste time. Unlike the democrat run house that ran a scam FAILED impeachment, wasting time, money, political capitol, and losing voters.

The impeachment was successful. President Trump was impeached. The Senate called no witnesses and heard no evidence. Again The GOP Senate was derelict in their Constitutional Duty.

Ooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrr....... maybe the Senate was the ONLY one doing their Constitutional Duty. I mean, unless you want a country where we start impeaching people over phone calls and stuff.

Wrong again, no requirement for Senate to call witnesses or evidence. The Democrats failed to prove their assertion.
Did I mention this lost them voters?

The Democrats didn't get a chance as no witnesses or new evidence were allowed to be admitted, The GOP Senate again did not do what Americans paid them to do. They declined to do the work they are paid to do.

The Senate GOP DID NOT DO THEIR DUTY. YOU ARE A TREASONOUS FUCKSTICK. They allowed the Supreme Court to sit at 8 justices for over a year. When the Democrats expand the court and remove Trumps only accomplishment I will laugh at all of you for throwing away your entire party for nothing.

I heard a news cast last night on local news. they were doing a story on the "explosion" of early voters this year. They showed the totals of each day in Tarrant County in the last 4 days. And the numbers, as they described, were just shocking they were so high. Almost 50,000 early voters EVERY single day in the first 4 days. New Records! THey interviewed the guy in charge of early voting in Tarrant County and he was just glowing with the reviews of how his people were handling the "onslaught" of early voters. Compared to other years this was just breath taking. Then the reporter said that, "when you compare JUST these last 4 days to the first 4 days in 2016, we have seen nearly 10,000 more early votes this year! Its amazing".

When you do the math on 50,000 votes per day for 4 days and have a 10,000 increase, that's 5% more this year than 2016. I think a 5% increase hardly merits that kind of news story.
