Why, you ask? Well that will mark Pluto's first birthday since it was found. That's right, folks. Our little planet-not-planet is gonna be one year old.

Pluto was discovered in 1930. It takes it 248 years to go around the sun once.
But i'm starting to suspect Flumper and WTC have been conversing......

Well, the more you know...
I won't be celebrating for an additional 75 years though, celebrating when Pluto came out of the closet as a 'dwarf' planet. That's when the party begins!

That little rascal is not very big either. There's more surface area in Russia than on Pluto.

that would be over a 60 year long winter on Pluto. that must be brutal.
