KILLING SPREE Texas shooting – Two dead and at least 20 injured after ‘three gunmen’ in separate cars open fire in Odessa and Midland
TWO people are dead and at least 20 are injured as "three mass shooters" are ACTIVE in Texas tonight, it has been reported.
Local cops have said that terrified locals have been shot in the city of Odessa and neighbouring Midland.
Police said that two, or possibly three, shooters in two separate vehicles - a small Toyota truck and a hijacked Postal van - are carrying out the attack.
Midland mayor Jerry Morales said the attack started shortly after 4pm local time on Interstate 20 and Highway 191, which connects Midland to Odessa.
He said: "They are shooting at random. We have two fatalities and up to 20 injuries.”
One of the suspects is reportedly at a Home Depot in Odessa while another is believed to be at a Cinergy cinema in Midland.
According to CBS News, a Texas state trooper is among those who have been shot. His condition is unknown.
The shooting was "planned by a group", police sources told News West 9.
On Facebook, Odessa Police wrote: "A subject (possibly 2) is currently driving around Odessa shooting at random people.
"At this time there are multiple gunshot victims. The suspect just hijacked a US Mail carrier truck.”
One suspect was believed to have been arrested at the Cinergy cinema in Odessa, CBS affiliate CBS 7 reported.
Cops have told people to stay in their homes.
US President Donald Trump has been briefed on the shootings which comes less than a month after a gunman shot dead 22 people in El Paso, Texas.

I'm even farther up in Bear country in NJ (I think DP was right down the road). Believe it or not, this is Trumpland of NJ (yep, in Blue NJ!).
Anyhow, I used to live 10 minutes or less from Trump's resort. I suspect life during his visits re: where you can drive gets interesting while he's there.
I know the Bedminster Airport folks aren't happy when he's there.
