I have grown all of those except the "Lemon Drop". Never heard of it, spicy or sweet?

Got over 90% germination from fresh seed last year; took a bit long, but still got excellent germination this winter as well. These should be started a bit earlier than jalapeno, banana, or sweet peppers. The 4 plants last year produced so well that I have around 2 cups of dried lemon peppers in a jar, and gave a few bags away to friends. This pepper is very spicy, with a complex aroma when chopped fresh. Never add the fresh peppers to an empty frying pan without first opening a window: the chemicals cook off easily and the fumes are dangerous. Add the fresh peppers to sauces, salsas, and marinades when you want lots of heat and flavor, with very little 'pepper' taste. This is my recommendation for seasoning grilled fish and chicken because the mild fruity taste and complex aroma go great with mild fish or chicken. Cook fresh, or preserve this gourmet delicacy by canning or by drying with an herb dryer; they quickly shrivel if refrigerated.

I use fish blood for fertilizer. That and water every 2 or 3 days. I grow the plants in 5 gallon buckets as well.
