Take brussel sprouts, split in half and place into a preheated pan with butter and cook until you get color on both sides.
Add salt, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Do the same for asparagus.
Take salad and feed it to a cow, kill the cow and cut it up. Select your cut of 2nd hand salad, season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and other spices of choice. Place a pat of butter on top and place into a smoker using mesquite chips at a temperature of 250 to 275 degrees and let sit for 45 minutes or longer at lower temperatures. Pull the 2nd hand salad out and toss on a hot grill for 5 minutes a side. Serve hot next to a potato covered in sour cream, chives, and 2nd hand salad bits recovered from the belly of a pig. Best with a beer of choice

Slanty Asians and Indians developed better ways to smother vegetables.

My apartment complex reeks of curry, and last time I went to the clubhouse to watch a football game I had to leave. The male curry munchers in there smelled of not washing their ass so much my eyes started watering.

I make my own Garam Masala for Buttered chicken.

And forget chinese 5-spice powder. I make 10-spice powder that blows it out of the water.

Started doing the 5 spice thing too, love it with apples. Do you do saffron in your garam masala?

You are so sarcastic and edgy Geist. It's amazing how deep, cultured, and intelligent you are. The men and women must just swoon at your feet when you walk into a room.

Try some Bah Kemp, I'm guessing on the spelling here and it's been 15 years since I was there, I had it in Thailand. Sun dried minnows with salt and sugar. Not bad but the fins get stuck in your gums weirdare than popcorn shells.
The annoying thing about turmeric is the fresh stuff stains your fingers if you don't use gloves but it's great in rubs and marinades.

No saffron. I usually get whole seeds and roast but this is my quick recipe:

1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons ground coriander
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cardamom
1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Fruits, technically.
