Took a couple days off for a nice long weekend for the fourth. I'm heading to Summerfest today to enjoy some music, scantily clad women, and fireworks then up to the cabin tomorrow for a long weekend of fishing and relaxing. Anyone else have plans for a weekend? Oh, WTC, I checked the weather and I won't be needing a jacket.

I'll find out later today if I'm working Friday or not , I'm on vacation next week so Saturday we're going to jump on the bikes and ride to Denver for a couple days

At the beach. Extended family next to us screaming and drinking until 1:30 am. Music on 11.
This morning one of them comes out, yells “WOOO! ... YEAH! ... ‘MERICA!”

Off today and tomorrow. I'm doing some pulled pork for sammiches, tater salad, and baked beans for tomorrow. Friday its back to work 12 hrs/7 days a week for a long while.

I'm guessing Don is paying off some bills and looking to put some money in the bank. Just make sure you're eating and sleeping reasonably well. Happy 4th.

Its rough, but I'm getting used to it. You grab naps when you can. OTOH, I'm looking to break $100K this year for the first time in my life (and the majority of that is from this job in 6 months), so, I got that going for me. I'm trying to make a good name for myself in this company. They have more tentacles in the auto industry that you could imagine. I want to be called for these "have to be done" jobs in other places that pay so well you cant turn them down. 16 hr days dont mean shit to me if the pay is right.

And, I've dropped 20 lbs in a month. I can move better, breath better, and my knees dont scream as much. I'm looking to drop another 60 if I can.
