Some dumbass movie reviewer from USA Today yesterday was stating things like "plot holes", "undeveloped character relations", blah blah. Said reviewer obviously doesn't understand what Godzilla movies are about.

I'm friends with some Navy guys who, when they first got to Hawaii, an officer told them about a strip club they "had to go to!". It was a bit out of the way, but it was really cheap lap dances, and the girls were first rate. So, my friends rented a car, and drove 20 miles to this place. They said it looked like a dump from the outside, but this guy said it was awesome. They paid too much for a cover charge, and a two drink minimum. When they got inside, the girls were beat as hell. They realized they had been punked. They had their two drinks, and then drove to a bar they knew. When they got back to the base, a group of sailors were getting ready to hit the town. The sailors asked where they should go? My friends told them of the bar 20 miles away, and how great it was.

i liked the scene where godzilla's owner took him to a drive in and ordered some ribs. When the car hop brings them out they are mastodon ribs and so he sets them on the tray on the side of the car and the car flips over. LOL.

Yeah, the whole point of the franchise is watching Godzilla plow through electrical lines and then tear out of it's foundation some 20 story building and then smack upside Mothra's head.
