After rewatching the episode and confirming what I've been thinking for years now...I fucking hate Bran. Dudes an anchor. I dont know if its the actor playing him, or the way he plays it or just the fact that Bran just kinda sits there and doesnt do shit. If youre so fucking all knowing why dont you help us with some strategy or something? Or maybe you warg into a giant fucking bear or something else and help us out a bit, eh?

Re: GoT season 8
Actually, there are some grumblings by certain GoT fans about why, if he can see all the past and future, why he doesn't reveal how exactly the White Walkers were defeated the first time a thousand years ago. *But*, there is that whole issue about using the past to work on the present. Killing a butterfly a 100 million years ago and how it would change the world today, or if you could go back in time and murder Hitler as a child. Maybe he just can't, his powers and abilities actually limit how he can use them. So he's more of a time recorder than a doer.CHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2019 1:10 pm After rewatching the episode and confirming what I've been thinking for years now...I fucking hate Bran. I'm still waiting for it to be revealed that Arya died back in Braavos, and The Waif is just using her face.

That would be awesome but I think Arya gave the Waifs face to Jaquen to hang in the hall.QillerDaemon wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2019 1:36 pmActually, there are some grumblings by certain GoT fans about why, if he can see all the past and future, why he doesn't reveal how exactly the White Walkers were defeated the first time a thousand years ago. *But*, there is that whole issue about using the past to work on the present. Re: GoT season 8
When Bran went "away", what was he doing, how did it benefit anyone and how did it add to the storyline?
I've always found him to be a big nothing to the overall story.
I'm agreeing with Who, we need to see Arya's tits and more of her ass.

Re: GoT season 8
Personally I think he plays him perfectly. He's not Bran anymore, he's the three eyed raven, he is just pure unflinching knowledge. That's got to numb you a bit to emotionsCHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2019 1:10 pm After rewatching the episode and confirming what I've been thinking for years now...I fucking hate Bran. It was on purpose. How dramatic would it have been to not see the whole Dothraki hoard with flaming swords get snuffed out in a minute by the dead?
After that, you could see the terror in every persons eyes.

So Bran is Dr. Manhattan. Or is he the Dr. Strange? *holds up 1 finger*

3 more chances I suppose for Sansa to get naked. Thats really all I'm hoping for now. That and the deaths of Jon, Bran and Danny. Fuck them.

The Dornishman's wife was as fair as the sun,
and her kisses were warmer than spring.
But the Dornishman's blade was made of black steel,
and its kiss was a terrible thing.
The Dornishman's wife would sing as she bathed,
in a voice that was sweet as a peach,
But the Dornishman's blade had a song of its own,
and a bite sharp and cold as a leech.
As he lay on the ground with the darkness around,
and the taste of his blood on his tongue,
His brothers knelt by him and prayed him a prayer,
and he smiled and he laughed and he sung,
"Brothers, oh brothers, my days here are done,
the Dornishman's taken my life,
But what does it matter, for all men must die,
and I've tasted the Dornishman's wife!

I doubt she gets nekkid in GOT at this point, but the series is ending and she's a terrible actress so they'll still be making an appearance while they're fresh.

i dunno if it's the setting's on my tv but i didn't have any issues with the brightness of that episode? Seemed appropriately bright for a battle fought in the dark of night.

Nope. Fuck Jon Snow. Thats too easy and predictable. This show has (was before B and B took over the story) been based on plot twists, unexpected outcomes and deaths. I'd honestly prefer Cersei to him. Shes a ruthless bitch on a mission but my hope is Arya or Sansa.

Yeeesh.. what a pile of dog shit that episode was..
Somehow they miss Denarius with about 50 arrows but hit her other dragon directly 3 times from a half mile away.. a feat i think that would challenge modern weaponry.
Aside from that absurdity the episode was just dumb conversations followed by that cute black chicks murder.
I'd like my money back please.

Surprise ambushes by slow moving ships on a clear day always annoy me, it was exacerbated by the laser guided smart crossbows. Maybe Euron found an infinity stone.

The trajectory of the arrows made no sense. Kinda like their plan to send out the Dothraki with regular weapons before the red bitch made a surprise experience.JackRabbit_Slim wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2019 11:07 am Yeeesh.. what a pile of dog shit that episode was..

Wow is this show suffering. Writing is shit. Not having Martin's source material is clearly taking a toll IMHO.
Decent episode I guess but not what we've come to expect.
After foreshadowing the ever living hell out of Varys and his "love for the realm" expect him to kill Danny when she orders a thrashing of Kings Landing. Unless that was just a giant Red Herring of course. Jamie's story arc was interesting. Poor Brianne. Sansa looked hotter than usual.
