nope, never hunted south of ozona. the place near Barnhart was north about 10 or 12 miles (toward Sterling City) and before the turn off to Mertzon.
I would come thru San Angelo to Mertzon, then west and south.

I hunted once near Junction (axis) and a couple of times west of Menard (axis and black buck).
