He does seem to have a hair trigger and a compulsive need to reply to any perceived slight. I would think that would take the fun out of pushing his buttons but that's just me...

What makes me laugh is the reverence some of the old guys paid to the mods on the old UJ and to a much lesser degree here. FSF and others expect the mods to act in a certain unbiased way with a certain level of maturity and fairness, like they are some special ubermensch. When in reality anyone can set up a free forum like this and be a mod, it's nowt special, like at all. I've been a mod on other forums and 99% of the time it's just banning bots and clearing spam.

AH, EV, Biker and the rest really don't give a shit, I am 99.9% certain, about rules, regulation and especially fairness. It's a nothing more than a piss about and they can do what the fuck they want, when they want and there ain't no reporting it to the Internet police if you don't like it.

So the users should act the same.
