It's very treatable so stay positive and eliminate the negative people in your life. Make cancer your bitch.

What makes them think you have bone cancer without first having the battery of tests?
Beginning of July I developed a Bakers cyst (Google it).
You have to find the cause for it. My doc did some X-rays on my left femur and knee. It showed anomalies which she said were bone lesions or tumors. This week I started having the same symptoms in my right leg, so whatever it is it's spreading and "Bone cancer" is the phrase she used.
Damn, mm. That fucking sucks. I wish you the best. Keep your chin up and get aggressive on checking out your medical options. I've heard staying ahead of it is the key

I don't agree with you a lot of the times. Hell we barely like each other when we do "talk". But I don't want anyone to go through what my dad did, and I hope you get better.

I'm hoping for all the best for you, but please get a 2nd opinion. I have a bakers cyst behind my right knee; its painful at times, and not much I can do for it, but my Doc told me it was due to the damage done to my knee when the car ran over me. They did meniscus surgery, and the Doc says its a small amount of joint fluid/cushion that leaks out of the joint and becomes a little sack of fluid on the back side of the knee. Masssaging it seems to help some for me. I also have small spurs on the bones of the joint that are painful and osteoarthritis. You condition may be quite different, but its worth getting checked by a 2nd Dr. An MRI is the only real way to see whats going on. Best of luck to you, and prayers its something simple.

Sooooooo, one of those friends got his eyes on your record player?
Funny you should mention that. I actually had my eyes on one at a pop-up store in town that is doing retro stuff including vinyl.
I've started picking up some more vinyl lately. I ordered this yesterday just because. They have some pretty cool stuff there.

I need a battery of tests but it looks like I probably have bone cancer.
I'm sorry to hear this. While not in the same situation, my wife was diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer last month, and is starting chemo next week. I wish you nothing but the best of outcomes

I'm sure you've already got all the options lined up but I've heard some amazing things about Keytruda and lung cancer.

Relatively. It was during a routine lung screening, not because she was complaining of, or presenting symptoms.

Immunotherapy is part of her chemo regimen, and the drug they are using for it is a "sister" drug to Keytruda. Because of the spread, they are skipping radiation for now, and doing the immunotherapy concurrent to the chemo.

Thank you. I was pretty bummed, too. We've been together for 27 years, and celebrated our 24th anniversary last week of July. God willing, both Megman and the wife will be around for the 25th, onward. With him still in Canada, of course.

Well my doc phoned me at home tonight. Just the type of person she is.
Turns out I do have bone cancer. I have an MRI tomorrow and Friday to determine what it is and how far it has spread.

Sorry to hear that. Was hoping for a better final diagnosis. Hopefully better news is ahead.
