Entertainment, and the Lack Thereof...

All the news from the peanut gallery and where all the nasty trash talk fails miserably.
It can get NSFW-ish here: you have been warned!

I actually still get DVDs in addition to streaming Netflix.
You still get DVDs from Netflix?

Yeah, it's like six bucks a month or so. There are a lot more movies available, as wells as non Netflix content.

I don't recognize any of the actor's names in movies, anymore. I am going to bed to read and surf at around 9:30. It's that bad.
The popular media is not aimed at people my age.
I don't care for your Electric Boogaloo, thank you very much.

OK, I have your perfect solution. Avoids all the melodrama, women emoting etc to fill in the hour allotted. RD's "Black Summer" on Netflix. I'm on the last E8. All around 25-25 minute long with no BS- non-stop action. Highly doubtful it will be renewed, but I'm not a Netflix Exec. I hope it is renewed.

Finally watched Olympus Has Fallen. It killed a couple of hours. That’s saying a lot anymore.

British series Bodyguard is pretty good. Australian series Glitch is ok, too.

My wife and I have enjoyed Disenchanted (a sort of Futurama but in a medieval fantasy setting, many of the same voice actors), Catastrophe, and Vanity Fair, based on the book.
